Shrimii Kitchen Restaurant, Prague

Shrimii Kitchen is a family business focused on modern Asian cuisine. It opened in the summer of 2022 and has since gained many fans. I went there with my friends for the lunch menu, which the restaurant offers every workday.

Soup with soba noodles

I started my lunch with soup with soba noodles for 70 CZK (about 3 EUR). The sake kombu broth was wonderfully flavored, with shrimp and oyster mushrooms cooked to a pleasant bite. A soup I would love to have again. For the main course, I chose braised beef neck with Vietnamese pepper and pineapple, prepared with Asian herbs and coconut milk for 190 CZK (about 7.50 EUR) . The beef was tender, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was excellently seasoned.

From the regular menu, we ordered “Ulan Bato Noodle” – flat rice noodles with stir-fried Black Angus beef for 285 CZK (about 11.50 EUR). A beautiful presentation, all the colors of Asia on a plate.

From the lunch menu, we also chose “Pork Singapore Noodles” – stir-fried rice noodles with pork, vegetables, and egg omelette for 185 CZK (about 7.50 EUR).

From the regular menu, we also had “Bangkok Red Curry” – sliced beef tenderloin steak with red curry sauce and rice for 385 CZK (about 15,40 EUR). The meat was perfectly cooked to medium, everything again excellently seasoned.

The interior of the restaurant is modern and cozy, with one wall adorned by a large mural. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food, even outside the lunch menu, was prepared quickly and tasted great. We also tried non-alcoholic cocktails and the alcoholic cocktail 7 PM Soul (130 CZK, about 5.20 EUR). We all agreed that the taste was interesting, pleasantly fruity, and we would like to have them again.

If you don’t know Shrimii Kitchen, try visiting the restaurant for lunch or dinner. In our small group, which has eaten a lot around the world, we agreed that it is definitely worth a visit.

Bon appetit!
