One of the most famous Turkish dishes is kebab, a general name for various kinds of grilled meat. Among the most popular are döner kebab and şiş kebab. Adana Kebab, named after the city of Adana, is another popular variant of this dish. In this case, seasoned minced meat is cooked on a long skewer.

Baklava is a famous Turkish dessert consisting of layers of fine pastry filled with chopped nuts and sweetened with syrup or honey. Fish and seafood are also commonly used, especially in coastal areas where fresh fish is often grilled or baked with aromatic herbs. Inland areas, on the other hand, focus more on meat and poultry dishes.

For me, Turkish cuisine is one of the best in the world.
