Mlýnec Restaurant, Prague (2): Lunch Menu

Dan Špaňhel Czechia Updated No Comments

Mlýnec Restaurant is one of my favorite establishments in Prague. This is due to the quality of the food, the pleasant atmosphere, the service, and above all, the absolutely amazing view of the Charles Bridge. Also thanks to the lunch offer, where Mlýnec offers three courses for 495 CZK (25 EUR), it is a favorite destination of mine.

Foie gras, figs, currants, red peppercorns, and a port wine emulsion as a starter. An excellent combination; the starter was so large that I would have welcomed even a half portion.

Mlýnec Restaurant: veal tenderloin with polenta, broccoli, a prosciutto chip, and mushroom sauce.

Veal tenderloin with polenta, broccoli, a prosciutto chip, and mushroom sauce was served as the main course. Mlýnec knows how to do steaks; the meat was tender and juicy, the polenta beautifully garnished.

Mlýnec Restaurant: carrot cake with sea buckthorn sorbet, quark, and walnut.

And finally, dessert - carrot cake with sea buckthorn sorbet, quark, and walnut. Absolute perfection and, for me, the tastiest version of carrot cake I have ever eaten.

If you haven't visited Mlýnec yet, consider a visit. Mlýnec is a great choice if you are choosing a place where to have lunch in Prague. The food is delicious, the view of the Charles Bridge is enchanting, the setting is beautiful, and the value for money is very good.

Bon appétit!
