The central farmers’ market in Varna also includes a fish market. It offers a truly wide range of both sea and freshwater fish and seafood. It is the only fish market in Varna.
Prices are low, and if you like to cook or grill, I recommend shopping here.
There are about 10 – 20 vendors selling their goods at the market, mainly offering fish from the Black Sea, on whose coast Varna is located.
Hygiene seemed to be at a high level, despite the high temperatures, there was no unpleasant smell lingering around the place.
The fish market is located on the edge of the central farmers’ market, a bit hidden from the eyes of visitors, as it is surrounded by several buildings. You can reliably find the entrance based on the picture shown above.
